The fourth edition of the next generation solar energy conference, the NGSE4, has taken place in Nuremberg, Germany from the 8th to the 10th of December 2019 at the Energy Campus Nürnberg.

The NGSE5 took place from December 7th through 9th 2021 as an online event that was co-organized by SCUT in China together with the partners FAU, HI ERN and ZAE.
